In this paper the authors present the up to date situation of the surveys on the radio listening audience in Italy. The first part of the paper contains a brief description of the evolution in recent years of the radio in Italy and of the surveys which studied it. There is then a description of the actual articulation of the radio and of the AUDIRADIO survey. In particular, the various aspects of the methodology of this survey are analyzed. The sample used with its articulation. The system of weighting. The questionnaire with the description of certain of its specific aspects.
