Abstract:

There are more than 200,000,000 millennials in America: more than total population of 7 countries (Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, Panama and Canada). Almost 2 times Mexico's population. Same size as Brazil. 65% of US size. More than 14% of China's population. Millennials are the largest consumer segment, 1 out of every 4 persons in America are millennials. Yes, the size of the segment speaks for itself. But moreover, there are strong indicators that this generation is unique and is causing a revolution in many fronts. A simple proof is that they are a hot topic in the media, with headlines of the sort of Me Generation in Time Magazine, Millennials: they call them the generation of ideas but they strive to keep a job in a main newspaper in the region or Millenials the spoiled generation that wants to change the world in an European newspaper.
