Abstract:
Foresight and intuition are interlinked. This paper posits that foresight and prediction are a function of good and intuitive thinking on the part of researchers and research buyers. Intuition is our 'adaptive unconscious'. All of us have this adaptive unconscious but we forget or lose the ability to utilise it as we are mired in the morass of data, information and opinions. This paper outlines a process of reactivating our intuition, our internal third eye, as researchers and research practitioners.
