Abstract:
Flipkart?s Big Billion Days (BBD) is one of India?s most awaited and biggest shopping festivals of the year. BBD signals the start of the festive sale season, and enjoys a very high equity in the minds of consumers. It is a significant contributor to Flipkart?s gross merchandise value (GMV), and sales during the BBD month are 2.3 times compared to other months. In its ninth run since inception and the first BBD after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, Flipkart wished to make this edition bigger and better than ever. However, this is the most competitive time of the year.
