Abstract:
In this paper we shall try to give a brief account of the public opinion polls held or planned in Belgium in the realm of criminality, criminal law and criminal justice. We have thought fit to distinguish three headings: 1. public opinion polls which examine the above-mentioned field in a general way; 2. public opinion polls which examine particular matters relating to problems of active policy and; 3. studies and projects which are not public opinion polls properly, but which deserve mention on account of the inclusion of opinion polls of special groups in society.
