Abstract:
Advances in technologies including robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), sensors and 3-D printing have the potential to both create and eliminate job opportunities for workers in every industry. For example, new technologies are creating entirely different methods to get work done, in many cases, upending the way we think about and use technology. But what do workers think about these changes? Do they see more opportunities or are they worried that their jobs and incomes will become obsolete? Join Gina Pingitore from Deloitteâs Center for Industry Insights and Nicole Mitchell from Research Now SSI as they discuss teaming up with ESOMAR and the Insight Association to understand these issues and to explore in depth what market researchers think about the future of the industry. You will learn: â¢The pros and cons of advanced technology: learn what workers from ten different countries really think about the future of work and what they value most; â¢Do market researchers see the future differently than workers from other industries; â¢How researchers can prepare themselves for the changes that are already occurring.
