Abstract:

Earlier this year Benson & Hedges Special Vending Size was introduced and has been available in various selected outlets since July. The cigarette is a shorter version of Special Filter, retailing at 42p and is intended to hold the Benson Hedges franchise against possible trading down from Special Filter until 1978 when it is anticipated that EEC regulations will operate which will make King Size economically more attractive.
