From unicolour to a multicolour market

Date of publication: November 28, 2004

Abstract:

Fifteen years since the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe - one might say that enough time has passed for us to forget all about it. Yet uncanny historical periods leave traces within people's minds, traces that affect their behaviors, attitudes, actions, making them different. This paper introduces the reader to the fundamentals of an ex-communist culture by linking people's 'uni-colour' past to their present 'multi colour' life. It is an attempt to dig down to peopl's essential traits that remained unaltered over time.
