Abstract:
Max Pax are considering redesigning the 100 series vending machine to improve the functional performance and overall appeal of the machines. A variety of possible modifications have been identified but it was thought that any final decision should take full account of customer requirements. This research was undertaken to investigate:
1. Those aspects of the Max Pax system where current users would welcome modifications;
2. Ways in which the machine could be improved in the eyes of prospective purchasers and rejectors.
