Abstract:
At the age of 14 Laura Dekker-Thielmann set off on a journey to sail solo around the world, with the blessing of her parents but not of the Dutch government. She completed the journey when she was 16 years old which made her the youngest person to ever sail around the world singlehanded. Laura speaks about how she made her biggest dream a reality and how ''Life is a journey, not a destination''.
