Abstract:
The research was required to evaluate consumer reactions to three possible new countline products: Buttawafer, Clark Bar and Rum Baba. The research covered:
1. Experience of the product at home Likes and dislikes about taste, texture, combinations, size, etc.;
2. Comparisons with existing products, and relative advantages and disadvantages;
3. Feelings about eating the product, how they could fit into eating patterns;
4. Expected price, and likely levels of interest in the purchase;
5. Suggested improvements and other diagnostic information for developing the products.
