Qualitative research into Yardley press advertising
The purpose of the research was, therefore:
1. To establish which of the shots best project the desired Yardley imagery. In particular in terms of the projections of the model being seen as having self-assurance, style and being seen to be in her late twenties;
2. To detect any negatives which might exist in the proposed execution and indicate how these might be overcome;
3. To examine an alternative packaging style for Yardley lipsticks and compacts.
