It is high time that the industry joined forces in order to establish what the actual situation is at the universities and major business schools and to determine what can be done together, and which initiatives can be taken in the field of education, training, teaching and coaching. Examples could be the development of new curricula worldwide, recognized diplomas, exchange programs or attractive programs in top business schools where future managers get their post graduate education. All this will not yield concrete results overnight. However, adding new skills, creating new talent and the improved exposure of the profession at higher management level will all lead to a brighter future.
