Abstract:
This paper discusses the paradigm when it comes to selecting and hiring qualitative researchers. As with all business, the quality of the work is extremely dependent on the type of people within the organisation. Research agencies have a tendency to hire based on skills whereas the selection of consultancy firms is based on talent and personality. If research agencies continue to hire researchers, we will end up doing research. If we want consultancies to continue to grow within our branch, we must look at the criteria used in selecting new personnel.
