The aim of the paper is to explain the opportunities for market research through the use of a new technology to conduct surveys for gathering information on real time and event driven topics with difficult to get hold of respondent groups. The paper will show details of how NOP Media conducted (together with the findings) a survey project using mobile phones as the data collection device.
