Abstract:

This research was undertaken to make a preliminary assessment of the appeal and potential of tyres with designed walls. The specific research objectives were:

1. To assess how motorists respond to the experimental designs versus the standard designs;

2. To provide guidance on what types of wall designs are most appealing;

3. To obtain indications on the potential positives and negatives of the idea of designed tyre walls.
