Abstract:
Our research reveals significant myths and truths about echo chambers in modern Greece. Our findings call for policymakers to create conversational spaces that avoid reinforcing echo chambers. Researchers, as the key players in this process, are urged to disseminate scientifically sound data to combat ?echochamberism? and enhance societal cohesion. This could pave the way for significant European initiatives promoting democracy and unity in an increasingly fragmented world. These compelling insights underline the necessity of mechanisms akin to the ancient Greek chorus in our contemporary society to foster empathy, understanding and unity amidst diversity.
