Abstract:

CFRO (GSI), with the assistance of the Direction Generals des Telecommunications (DGT) has decided to test, on the implementation of the TELETEL experiment, the administration of "general public questionnaires" through telematics. This application, which is spread over the years 1981 and 1982 and which groups together the DGT and GSI as well as about a dozen other organisations (Research firms, Banks, Insurance Companies, Transport Firms, etc.), has been christened the Video-Questionnaire. The Video-Questionnaire is a type of software which makes it possible to administrate questionnaires on "domestic" screen-terminals, and to monitor and process the information thus collected.
