Abstract:
Web 2.0 enables users to generate, disseminate and share previously unheard of amounts of information within the web. This necessarily creates information overload, much of it useless to corporations, thus obscuring highly valuable bits and pieces. Based on case studies and market research findings, this presentation describes ways to aggregate the information present and differentiate potentially valuable from useless information through innovative software solutions. Additional an understanding of community dynamics, intra- and inter-community relationships is addressed.
