Women of Brazil

Date of publication: October 24, 2004

Abstract:

This paper covers a deep study on feminine nuances both in urban Brazilian nuclei and in root communities (aboriginal, black, riparian, from the inland and the Amazon). For that purpose, it developed a new way of investigation that seeks to study phenomena in depth, without intercepting relational links that are established between individuals and among them and their cultural and environmental milieu. It was an ambitious project developed during a year and replicated two years later with its main publics and which mobilized more than 150 people. Results showed a new woman being shaped and evidenced the importance of applying the complex thought whenever dealing with the understanding of quotidian human behavior.
