Abstract:
This presentation talks about research made a difference in the lives of women in Mongolia.
UNFPA Mongolia, in collaboration with the Mongolian government with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, initiated the first-ever nationwide study on gender-based violence. This study became the first step in what would be a comprehensive four-year endeavor to combat violence against women in Mongolia by strengthening national capacity for both response and prevention.
