Abstract:
This paper gives a brief insight into the developments which have led to the âAH Financeâ concept. The disappearance of clear-cut boundaries in a number of areas, as well as current technological possibilities have resulted in the development of All Finance. All distribution channels, banks included, can make use of virtually every method of distribution. The distinctions between channels are based on the distribution mix that is applied and the supplementary value that is generated. In addition to utilising the bank channel as a distribution channel, an insurer can go a great deal further in his collaboration with the bank. The degree to which this can be achieved and the fields which can be covered, is something that is up to the two parties themselves.
