Abstract:
This issue of Marketing and Research Today is devoted to a selection of papers given at the 1995 ESOMAR Congress in The Hague. Papers delivered by four invited keynote speakers are included. As usual at the ESOMAR Congress, Awards were given for the paper judged to be the best paper overall; for the best case history paper showing an interesting application of research which would be helpful to users; and for the best methodological paper of technical and innovative interest, which would add to the tools available to researchers. In the event, two papers were felt by the jury to be of equal merit and worthy of the award for the best methodological paper and it was decided to make two awards in this category this year. All four award-winning papers are included in this issue.
