Abstract:
Marshall Cavendish Ltd. is in the process of developing a new partwork. The work is intended to be a household management publication. The company has designed the work to appeal primarily to women who run a home. In view of the heavy editorial commitment required in producing a project of this nature, it is necessary to thoroughly research the idea and to establish firstly whether or not the work is likely to be favourably received and purchased, and secondly to whom its appeal would be greatest.
