Abstract:
Post Office Telecommunications Ltd., is developing a national chain of outlets situated in major conurbations and regional towns, thus providing coverage of most of the population. The objectives of this retail operation are:
1. To promote Post Office Telecommunications business;
2. To help to develop the corporate identity of Post Office Telecommunications as an efficient and progressive organization; to help to personalize it and make it seem less remote to the general public and subscribers;
3. To increase ownership and usage of domestic telephones; to provide a new and dynamic channel for marketing Telecommunications services and equipment.
As a secondary objective to provide an outlet for equipment and services for small businesses; the degree to which this is significant for each outlet will reflect the importance of the business market in the specific area or region.
