Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to discuss certain specific problems associated with the collection of data in industrial survey research and to present information control procedures which can be set up to remedy those difficulties. It is proposed in this paper to define industrial research as any type of study in which the collection of information is done with persons who are interviewed not as individuals of the general public, but in their professional capacity, as representatives of their enterprise or other organization.
