Product research in the communication industry

Abstract:

Instead of giving a listing of all kinds of product research which could be done for the communication industry, a view is given of the several research projects which were carried out for a regional newspaper in the last 5 years . The research was oriented at quite different elements such as : the effect of editorial columns, the chances of penetration in the different regions in the circulation area, the use and appreciation of the newspaper, the use and appreciation of a special column, the functions of the regional newspaper in relation to radio and television, the development of the number of subscribers, the continuous study about dropping the Limburgs Dagblad and subscribing to it, and the continuous study about the use and appreciation of the product. Special interest is given to the practical policies based on the research projects and the problems which rose from this.
